My typical writing style has always led to songs with a heart breaking sound yet they still have a bright and hopeful outlook. The songs are dramatic and sweeping. But then one day I started to notice I'm just lacking in up beat, fun and worry-free songs. "The Things That Matter Most" was my attempt at that and also to remind us all to not worry too much - it'll all work out for the best in the end. :-)
